CODE OF CONDUCT
Ethical Dealings
Employees must not accept or offer gifts or favours to customers, suppliers or employees as that may be seen as an attempt to influence business decisions. All employees must conduct their business to a high ethical standard and comply with relevant legislation on bribery, corruption and prohibited business practice.
Health & Safety
At Nuvochem we will make proper provisions for the health, safety and welfare of our employees, visitors and contractors and those in the community who may be affected by our activities. A safe and hygienic working environment will be provided and best occupational health and safety practice promoted, bearing in mind the prevailing knowledge of the industry. Employees must abide to the health and safety management system which can be found in the Employees Handbook.
Proprietary Information
Any information you receive through business with suppliers must be kept confidential and never used for personal gain. This includes both commercial and technical information. Appropriate non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements are and will continue to be used to formalise the process of protecting proprietary information.

At Nuvochem employees are expected to develop constructive relationships with suppliers and representatives and recognises the rights of individuals to join trade unions.

Pay and Benefits
The company complies with all national regulations on pay and benefits set in place to meet basic needs of workers and their families and also supports equal pay for work of equal value.
Working Hours
Nuvochem complies with all national regulations on working hours. Employees are given an annual leave provision and are permitted at least one non-working day per seven days on average
Forced, Involuntary and Child Labour
At Nuvochem we believe that employment should be freely chosen and therefore would refrain from using any form of forced, involuntary or debt bonded labour. We are opposed to the use of any form of Child labour or practices that inhibit the development of Children. We comply with all Child Labour laws and would not employ anyone under the age of 15 years.
